Troubled by low yield, the farmer committed suicide.

A young man committed suicide by hanging himself with his wife's saree in village Chhayan under Kotwali Mehrauni of Lalitpur district. On receiving information about the incident, the police took the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem. Family members said that he committed suicide due to low crop yield and illness.
