He said, ‘I have not told this story to anyone, few people know about it. Now people will know this. In 2013, when I was playing for Mumbai Indians, during that time there was a match in Bangalore. Gate to Gather was held after the match. One player had drunk too much alcohol. I will not reveal his name. He was looking at me for a long time. After that he took me to the balcony in a drunken state. They hung me down from the balcony of a 15-storey building.
I was holding his neck. I got very scared. If I had lost my hand, I would hardly have survived. There were many people there. He immediately took care of me. I had fainted. People made me drink water. That day I realized how responsible we should be while going out. I survived on the go. For the slightest mistake, I would have fallen down.

When returned after playing ODI, went to a temple in Kerala with the whole family. Had to cross the temple river. There were 15-16 people sitting on the boat. When the boatman turned the boat on reaching near the temple, I fell down. By the time I understood something, I went under water. I didn’t understand what to do. I tried and somehow caught the side part of the boat. My whole body was under water. Only my neck was up. Then somehow I was rescued.
