Action has been taken against senior officials of the department in the case of fraudulent payment of funds meant for development work in Chitrakoot Gram Panchayats. In which Deputy Director Sanjay Yadav, who is holding the charge of Jhansi and Chitrakoot Dham Mandal Banda, DPRO Kumar Amarendra of Chitrakoot and ADPRO Rameshchandra Gupta have been suspended. Apart from this, the services of State Consultant related to the scheme at the headquarters level along with DCDPM and ADPM related to this scheme in Chitrakoot district have been terminated.
