Shimron Hetmyer scored 4 runs off 10 balls against Hyderabad in Qualifier-2.
Rajasthan Royals player Shimron Hetmyer has been fined by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for violating the IPL Code of Conduct, but Hetmyer’s fault has not been disclosed.
At the same time, Hetmyer has accepted his mistake. He has been fined 10 percent of his match fee. In a release issued by the IPL, it is written that Hetmyer has committed a Level 1 offense under Article 2.2 of the IPL Code of Conduct. He admitted the offense and accepted the sanction of the match referee. For Level-1 violations of the Code of Conduct, the decision of the match referee is final and binding.
Actually, Abhishek Sharma was bowling the 14th over of Rajasthan’s innings. Hetmyer got out on the fourth ball of this over. Abhishek changed his line length, which Hetmyer could not understand and the ball hit the left stump and he had to go to the pavilion. He was the last hope of Rajasthan Royals. In such a situation, after getting out, he expressed his anger on the field. It is believed that this is the reason why BCCI has imposed a fine on him.
