Counting of votes for 2 Lok Sabha seats will take place in Moradabad
DM Manvendra Singh informed that counting of votes for 2 Lok Sabha seats Moradabad and Sambhal is to be done in Moradabad. Counting of Moradabad Nagar, Moradabad Rural, Kanth and Thakurdwara assembly seats of Moradabad will be done at Moradabad Mandi Samiti. While counting of 5th assembly Badhapur, which is included in Moradabad Lok Sabha seat, will be done in Bijnor. However, round wise result of Badhapur assembly seat will be available. It will be announced round wise along with the results of other assembly seats here. Counting of votes of 2 assembly seats Kundarki and Bilari of Sambhal Lok Sabha seat will also be done at the counting place built in Moradabad Mandi Samiti.

Counting will be done in 30 rounds, 14 tables in each assembly
The DM told that the counting will be completed in maximum 29 to 30 rounds. For this, tables have been set up in Mandi Samiti, the counting place for each assembly constituency. 14 tables each have been set up in Moradabad Rural, Kanth, Thakurdwara and Bilari. The maximum number of rounds (37) were being conducted in Moradabad Nagar and 32 in Kundarki. Therefore the number of tables has been increased here. 17 tables have been made for Moradabad Nagar assembly seat and 15 in Kundarki, so that the counting of votes can be completed in 30 rounds.

DM Manvendra Singh said that in case of Sarvesh Singh’s victory, the certificate will not be issued.

Employees will reach the counting place at 6 am
Counting of votes will start at 8 am. For this, all the employees deployed on counting duty have been instructed to reach the counting venue Mandi Samiti at 6 am. All employees will report at the Mandi Samiti counting venue at 6 am in any case. After this, counting of votes will start at exactly 8 am.

The result will be available by 3 pm
The DM said that as per the instructions of the commission, the EVMs of the second round will be opened only after the counting of the first round is completed. It is estimated that the counting will be completed by 3-4 pm and the result will be declared. To ensure that the counting is completely fair and transparent, every instruction of the commission is being strictly followed.

If Sarvesh wins then the certificate of victory will not be issued
The DM said that as per the instructions of the commission, in case BJP candidate Sarvesh Singh wins, his victory certificate will not be issued. In case Sarvesh Singh wins, the result will be declared and information will be sent to the commission. In future, by-elections will be held on this seat on the dates issued by the Election Commission.

Only candidates and election agents will be allowed entry
DM Manvendra Singh says that very strict security arrangements have been made at the counting place. Only the candidates and their election agents will be allowed to go to the inner circle of counting. Apart from the counting personnel, officers engaged in counting duty will also be able to go here. Apart from this, no one else will be allowed to go to the inner circle.

Special arrangements were made regarding heat wave

Special arrangements have been made at the counting place regarding heat wave. The DM said that arrangements have been made at the counting place in view of the heat wave for the employees engaged in counting and the polling agents of the candidates. Special arrangements for drinking water and shade have been made in the Mandi Samiti premises.

Action will be taken on taking out victory procession
There will be a ban on the victory procession of the winning candidate and his supporters. Crowds will not be allowed to gather around the Mandi Samiti premises. The police have made special arrangements for this. The entire area will be converted into a cantonment by the police from 5 am on the day of counting.
