Today, on the third Tuesday of the month of Jyeshtha, Hanumanji, the son of wind, was worshipped with devotion in the capital Lucknow. This festival is also a symbol of the mixed culture of Lucknow.

Floral tributes were offered to the statue of Hanumanji at the Samajwadi Party state headquarters. On this occasion, Rajendra Chaudhary, national secretary, Shyam Lal Pal, state president, Chaudhary Samarpal Singh, MLA and the office staff were also present. A bhandaara was organised along with the worship of Hanumanji at the UP Press Club.
Former minister Rajendra Chaudhary and state president Shyam Lal Pal distributed prasad on behalf of Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav. Juhi Singh, Meera Vardhan, Ashish Yadav ‘Sonu’, Dr. Rajpal Kashyap, Ram Singh Rana, Madhukar Trivedi, Manindra Mishra, Mukul Balmiki, Danish Siddiqui Advocate and Mohammad Arshad also participated. Among the senior journalists at the Press Club, Haseeb Siddiqui, Shivsharan Singh, Rajendra Dwivedi, Sushil Dubey, Mukul Mishra, Suman Gupta etc. were particularly active in organising the programme.
Bundi was distributed on Tuesday at Gandhi Ashram, Khadi Village Industry Hazratganj Lucknow. On this occasion, the presence of Mr. Rameshwar Nath Mishra, Rajendra Chaudhary, Prof. Ramesh Dixit, Mrs. Vandana Mishra, Fakir Siddiqui, Juhi Singh, Meera Vardhan, Pankaj Sharma, Anil Singh, Ashish Yadav ‘Sonu’ former OSD, Anoop Kapoor, Anurag Mishra, Madhukar Trivedi, Athar Hussain, Manindra Mishra, Mohammad Rashid, Pradeep Kannaujiya, Imran Khan etc. was notable.
