A case has come to light of cockroaches being found inside cut fruits and pomegranates at a juice shop in Greater Noida. Cockroaches were also found inside the glass, whose video was made by a person who came there to drink juice and posted it on social media. On seeing the video, social media went crazy.

Actually, a video of dirt and cockroaches coming out of a juice corner located in Greater Noida’s posh Sector Alpha-2 C Block Market had surfaced. In the video, cockroaches were sitting on peeled pomegranates and seasonal fruits at the juice shop. A person who came to drink juice at the shop made a video after seeing all these things and posted it on social media.
A small cockroach was also visible inside the glass.

It was also shown in this video that a small cockroach was visible inside the glass of pomegranate juice that was drunk at that time. Not only this, a large number of cockroaches are visible on the counter inside the juice corner. After that, the young man making the video got furious and started abusing.
Food Safety Department’s team sent fruit samples
The juice corner owner was also seen apologizing for this. Taking cognizance of this matter, the team of the Food Safety Department has taken samples of juice and fruits from the shop. Also, a case was filed against the juice owner in the SDM court.

Small cockroaches found on pomegranate
District Chief Food Safety Officer Akshay Goyal said that a video had surfaced of dirt and small cockroaches on pomegranates at the juice corner located in Sector Alpha-2. Taking cognizance of this, a team was sent for inspection. A lot of dirt was seen around the juice shop. Also, insects were seen near the peeled fruit under the counter of the shop.
He said that the team has immediately taken samples of fruits for testing. Also, samples of juice being sold by the shopkeeper have been collected and sent to the laboratory. Along with this, a case has been filed against the shop in the SDM court for not maintaining cleanliness near the shop. After which further action will be taken by the court.
