By the time the villagers heard the screams and took everyone out with the help of divers, two youths died by drowning in the water. Divers rescued 4 youths.

Six friends who had come from different villages to the Yamuna river on the banks of village Parvezpur in the Khakhreru police station area of ​​the district drowned when they went into the deep water while bathing in the Yamuna river. Hearing the cries, the villagers present nearby with the help of divers rescued four youths, Waqar Ahmed son of Mohammad Khurshid Ahmed, resident of Anjana Kabir, Faiz Ahmed son of Aqeel Ahmed, resident of Kabra, Ansh Khan son of Afaq Khan and Hasan Ullah son of Habib Ullah, resident of Hakimpur Khantwa.

Two youths, Mohammad Hasnain Khan, son of Ehsan Khan, resident of Hakimpur Khantwa and Mohammad Faisal Khan, son of Arshad Khan, resident of Jahangir Nagar, died due to drowning in water.

The bodies of both the youths have been sent for post-mortem.

The police reached the spot on receiving the information and took the bodies of both the youths in their custody and sent them for postmortem. The station in-charge said that 6 boys had drowned while bathing in the Yamuna river. In which two youths died due to drowning and 4 youths were saved with the help of divers. Both the bodies have been taken in their custody and sent for postmortem.
