Mirzapur Medical College Principal Dr RB Kamal resigned from his post as soon as he went on leave. His resignation was accepted and he was sent back to his original post. Now he is working as a professor and department head at his old posting place Moti Lal Nehru Medical College Prayagraj.

Dr Vishwajit Das, Acharya Biochemistry Department working in Autonomous State Medical College has been appointed as the Acting Principal of the Medical College. No additional salary allowance will be payable to Dr Vishwajit Das for this work. With the appointment of Principal in Maa Vindhyavasini Autonomous State Medical College, a lot of changes were seen in the hospital due to the activeness of Dr Kamal.
He was continuously engaged in providing the government facilities announced in the hospital to the common man. It is said that in his eagerness to receive calls from the common man and satisfy them and provide them government facilities, he became a victim of the siege of the caucus which was active for a long time. He felt that he had become a thorn in the eyes of the brokers. Seeing the siege, he went on an unannounced leave. With this, he resigned from the post.
Acting on that, Medical Education Section-3 accepted his resignation on July 1 and Special Secretary Shriprakash Gupta has issued information about the appointment of an acting principal.
