Jamaat’s statement on Allahabad High Court’s conversion decision | Jamaat’s statement on Allahabad High Court’s conversion decision: Maulana Razvi said – The High Court is concerned that if conversion continues, the majority population may become a minority – Bareilly News

Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi Barelvi, national president of All India Muslim Jamaat, has given his reaction on Tuesday on the decision of Allahabad High Court on conversion. In his video statement, Maulana Razvi said that Allahabad High Court is concerned that conversions continue

,

This concern may be of some area, I am not denying it. But in Uttar Pradesh, there is no work of conversion being done by Muslims or Christians anywhere. And neither is there any such organization of minorities which tempts people to convert.

A law for conversion has been made in UP

Maulana said that there is already a law for conversion in Uttar Pradesh. It has the harshest sections, but if a person converts in Uttar Pradesh, he will be sent behind bars under this law.

Maulana further said that the Constitution itself has permitted voluntary conversion. But threatening, intimidating or luring people to convert would be against the Constitution, and Islam also teaches the same thing.

Maulana said that in his entire life, the Prophet of Islam never converted anyone by luring or threatening them. Rather, he always preached to adopt goodness and stay away from evil. Many people adopted Islam by seeing and later reading the life and character of the Prophet of Islam. This order of the Prophet of Islam has been implemented with full force that no temptation will be given for the propagation and spread of Islam.
