CA Final, Intermediate-2024 result released: Two candidates from Delhi in top 3, more than 1 lakh candidates had given the exam

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released the result of CA Final and Intermediate exam held in May 2024. Candidates who have given the exam can check their result on the official website icai.nic.in You can go and see it.

22 year old Shivam qualified the exam in the first attempt
This year Shivam Mishra from New Delhi became the topper by securing 83.33% marks. Varsha Arora from Delhi stood second with 80% marks. Shivam Mishra, the All India topper in CA Final, has secured All India 50th rank in Foundation, 20th in Intermediate and now first rank in Final. 22-year-old Shivam has completed CA in one go.

Scores of top 3 toppers in final exam

  • Shivam Mishra – 83.33%

CA Inter result was 27%
This time 18.42% students have passed CA Intermediate, while 19.88% candidates have passed CA Final. More than 1 lakh candidates had given the CA Intermediate exam. Out of this, 31,978 candidates have passed.

At the same time, 71145 candidates appeared in the CA Inter Group 2 exam. Out of this, 13,008 candidates have passed and their pass percentage is 36.35.

The CA result was 36.35%. According to experts, this is the first time that the final result has been so good. Usually, till now the result did not go beyond 12-15%. 20,446 students from both groups have qualified the exam.

The exam was held on 3 May
ICAI conducted the Intermediate Examination (Group 1) on 9 May 2024. While the Group 2 Inter exam was conducted on 11, 15 and 17 May. The CA final exam for Group 1 was held on 2, 4 and 8 May while the Group 2 exam was held on 10, 14 and 16 May.

There is an objective paper in the CA Foundation exam. There is no bias marking of any kind in this. The time given for the exam is 3 hours.
