District judge inaugurated the Lok Adalat
The National Lok Adalat was inaugurated by District Judge Ashish Garg by garlanding the picture of Maa Saraswati and lighting a lamp. A total of 306331 cases were scheduled for settlement in the National Lok Adalat at the district headquarters, collectorate, tehsil level, out of which 251527 cases were settled. Ashish Garg, District Judge, settled 32 civil cases and 2 criminal cases.

43 family disputes were resolved
Ashish Jain, Chief Justice, Family Court Mathura disposed of 15 family cases, 27 criminal miscellaneous cases and Poonam Pathak, Additional Chief Judge, Family Court, Mathura disposed of 28 family cases. 5 applications were disposed of among the pre-litigation applications by the bench constituted for matrimonial cases.
Orders given to pay Rs. 8,41,61,000 to the victim parties in 94 motor accident cases
In motor accident compensation cases, Rakesh Kumar Tripathi, Presiding Officer, Motor Vehicle Accident Compensation Tribunal disposed of 94 cases related to motor accident compensation cases and passed orders to provide compensation amount of Rs. 8,41,61,000/- to the victim parties and 6 miscellaneous cases were disposed of. The Criminal Court disposed of 41219 criminal cases and collected a fine of Rs. 17,78,615/-. 75 cases related to cheque bounce cases were disposed of and orders were passed to pay Rs. 5,50,55,198/- to the parties.
73 civil cases, 144 Electricity Act cases, 184 Electricity Act final reports, 330 final reports, 17 consumer forum cases, 4 arbitration cases and 26 other types of cases were disposed of.

In the National Lok Adalat, 857 pre-litigation cases filed by various banks and mobile companies were settled and an amount of Rs. 10,40,57,561/- was recovered. The District Judge visited the stalls of the banks, mobile and finance companies present in the National Lok Adalat and heard the parties personally and gave necessary guidelines to the bank officials present for settlement of the cases of the parties. 208389 cases were settled at the pre-litigation level by the administrative courts and departments established at the district and tehsil levels.

Prisoners set up stalls
In the National Lok Adalat, as per the instructions of the State Legal Services Authority Lucknow, with the cooperation of District Jail, Mathura, stalls were set up for display and sale of Thakurji’s dress, Thakurji’s crown, handloom sarees, handloom gamchhas, handloom towels, handloom dhoti dupattas, handloom shirt fabrics, different types of LED bulbs and diya batti etc. products made by the prisoners lodged in the district jail. Judicial officers, advocates and litigants purchased materials as per their requirement from this stall. Deputy Jailor Karunesh Kumari and other jail personnel were present on this occasion.
Prisoners sold products worth Rs 25650
There was a huge crowd of people buying products made by prisoners lodged in the district jail at the stall set up at the National Lok Adalat. People who came to the exhibition bought products made by the prisoners. Here the prisoners sold goods worth Rs 25,650. Jail Superintendent Anshuman Garg said that after deducting the cost price from the amount received for the sold products, the remaining amount will be given to the prisoners as wages.
