The devotees worshipped Lord Shiva with proper rituals and bowed their heads at his feet

Outside various Shiva temples including Baba Baleshwarnath temple, shops selling prasad, flowers, and bilvapatra, as well as bhang and dhatura, were also set up. In the famous Baba Baleshwarnath temple located at the district headquarters, the Kameshwar Nath Mahadev temple located at Karo (where Mahadev burnt Kamadeva to ashes), the Shokharan Nath Shiva temple located at Asega in Bansdih tehsil area, the Avaninath Mahadev temple, the Mahadev temple located at Lakhneshwardih, Baba Chiteshwarnath Shiva temple at Chitauni, Shiva temple located at Shobhnath Dham, and Shiva temples located at other places, crowds of devotees gathered to offer prayers from Brahma Bela itself before the first rays of dawn.

In various temples located at different places, Shiva devotees performed Jalabhishek and worshipped Lord Shiva with fruits, flowers, Bel leaves, Bhaang, Dhatura, incense, lamps, offerings, agarbatti etc. and bowed their heads after worshipping and praying with full devotion for their wishes.

Devotees set out for Shiva temples from Brahmabela itself

On Monday, from Brahma hour onwards, Shiva devotees left for Shiva temples chanting Har Har Mahadev, Om Namah Shivay, etc. Where the Shiva devotees worshipped Lord Ashutosh by offering water to him. During this time, the amazing decorations of the Shiva temples made the scene worth seeing. Some temples were decorated with natural flowers and some with attractive fringes. During this time, devotees also established Akhand Deep in various Shiva temples to fulfill their desired wishes. Learned Brahmins remained engrossed in chanting along with various rituals. Extensive ritual of Rudrabhishek was seen going on in various Shiva temples.
