Intensive scrutiny of records at Registrar’s Office

On Thursday, the District Magistrate first inspected the RK office located in Sadar Tehsil. After this, he also thoroughly examined the records in the Sub-Sadar Registrar’s office and strictly questioned the people present there. The District Magistrate also conducted a surprise inspection of the office of the District Basic Education Officer.

During the raid, the District Magistrate closed the main doors of the concerned offices and strictly questioned the people present. The records of the offices were also thoroughly examined. During the inspection, the District Magistrate instructed the concerned officials to completely ban the entry of outsiders in the office and completely stop the practice of brokerage.

The DM has warned of strict action against the concerned persons as well as the officers if outsiders are found in the office during surprise inspection and if any case of brokerage comes to notice. Last week also, raids were conducted in many offices by the officers when the case of brokerage in offices came to the notice of the District Magistrate during public hearing.

After the office opened on Thursday, the District Magistrate raided three offices in a single day and gave a strong message to the officers and middlemen. During this, he said that various offices are being inspected to stop people roaming around in government offices as middlemen. He said that in government offices, government employees and officers get salary for their work. Under that, they have to complete their entire work.
