Since then, a debate has been going on in the country’s politics regarding Vinesh Phogat. After returning to the country, Vinesh Phogat joined the Congress and resigned from her railway job.

Congress has made her a candidate from Julana seat in the Haryana state assembly elections. Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Kisan Union had announced to honor Vinesh Phogat in the monthly panchayat of the organization proposed at Kisan Bhawan Sisauli. Her program was also taken, but now this felicitation ceremony has been postponed.

District President Yogesh Sharma said that a program was scheduled to honor wrestler Vinesh Phogat in the monthly panchayat held every month at Kisan Bhavan Sisauli, but after the meeting of the National Coordination Committee of Bharatiya Kisan Union in Lucknow and discussions with the Haryana State Committee, the top leadership decided that due to Vinesh Phogat’s participation in the elections from Julana Assembly, her program has been canceled.

We all congratulate him on stepping into his golden journey. He informed that the top leadership has directed all the officials and workers that the monthly Panchayat will be held on 17 September as per the situation, in which the outline of the program to be held in Lucknow on 6 October will be prepared after discussions.
