A sample of Vrat Namkeen and a sample of buckwheat flour were taken from Sudhir Grocery Store Bhopa and 11 kg of buckwheat flour worth approximately Rs 1320 was seized. All four samples were collected and sent for testing.
Told that eye sampling is being done during festivals in the district. After sampling, if any adulteration or sub-standard material is found in the food item, then action will be taken against the accused as per rules. From there the quality of raisins, cashew nuts and melon seeds was tested. Samples were seized for testing. Apart from this, samples of whole buckwheat and water chestnut flour were collected from Deep Trading Company. Samples of sago and samak rice were collected from the establishment of Ramumal Pramod Kumar. The team collected samples of samak rice, whole buckwheat and ground fennel from Moon Traders and sent them for testing. Whose investigation report is awaited.
