No one was injured in this cylinder blast, although the walls of the house where the blast took place have been damaged. Forensic and fire brigade teams reached the spot and are busy investigating the matter. Accused Azim had burnt paper and taken out the gas pipe and set it on fire, due to which the cylinder exploded.
SP City Shailendra Lal, who reached the spot after the cylinder blast in Azamgarh, said, the accused is mentally handicapped.

District SP City Shailendra Lal, who reached the spot after the incident, said that the cylinder blast took place near Dharam Nal. A boy named Mohammad Azim lives there. As soon as gas was lit in the kitchen, the cylinder exploded.
Local people told that Mohammad Azim had already committed the incident of setting fire and due to this he also got injured. Police, fire brigade and forensic team are busy investigating the case. The youth is also being interrogated.
Whatever facts come to light after investigation of the case and whoever is found guilty, strict legal action will be taken against him. This cylinder blast that happened late at night has created panic in the entire area. As soon as information about the cylinder blast was received, a large number of people gathered at the spot.
