The DM has taken action against the main accused under the National Security Act (NSA) regarding the ruckus that broke out after a minor bike accident last Friday at Madhuban turn in Ghosi Kotwali area of Mau. The police have sent the accused to jail.

Let us tell you that last Friday there was a minor collision between the vehicles of bike riders Shoaib and Sukhu near Madhuban turn. The dispute escalated so much that Shoaib attacked Sukhu with a knife. Angered by this, the villagers first pelted stones at the health center and then targeted the police vehicles that reached the spot.
Many policemen including CO and Kotwal were injured in stone pelting. The police somehow handled the situation and started investigating the matter. SP Mau Ilamaran G. Told that action has been taken against the main accused Shoaib Khan under the National Security Act (NSA).
Tension in village, security increased There is a tense atmosphere in the village after the incident. Police have deployed a large number of forces on the spot. SP said that strict steps are being taken to maintain law and order.
Villagers allege delay in action against police The villagers present at the spot say that if the police had taken strict action on time, the situation would not have deteriorated so much. At present the administration and police are investigating every aspect in this matter.
