In other news, Vikrant Massey sat for an interview with News18 Showsha and urged the audience to put aside their political inclinations while watching The Sabarmati Report. He mentioned, “For once, we hope that you reflect on what happened in 2002 through this movie. I think we still have some iota or ounce of humanity left.” The actor added, “Whether you’re left, just keep that aside for two hours and 10 minutes. Whether you’re right, keep that aside. Just watch this as a tragedy which was also a result of collective ignorance, a collective failure to honour those people who actually were just people like you and me. For once, we can see it as a human tragedy.”
The movie also stars Ridhi Digra and Raashii Khanna in the lead roles. Released on November 15, the film has amassed a decent collection at the box office.
