Shravasti. Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) caught a suspect in Suiya area of India-Nepal border, who repeatedly changed his statement during interrogation. Initially he declared himself to be a resident of Delhi, but after thorough interrogation he admitted to being a Nepali citizen.

The arrested person was found with other documents including Indian Aadhar Card, PAN Card, and four ATM cards, about which he could not give any satisfactory answer. The case was interrogated by a joint team of ATS, IB, and LIU, after which the accused was handed over to Sirsia Police.
According to SSB, the team deployed near border pillar number 633/6 stopped a person coming to India from Nepal. During initial interrogation, he revealed his name as Raju Pratap Singh, son of late Ballu Singh, resident of Surya Niketan, Anand Vihar, Police Station Vivek Vihar, Delhi.
However, when he was strictly interrogated, he revealed his real name as Saiduddin Khan, son of Waris Khan, resident of Byochaha, Thana Bhagwanpur, District Banke, Nepal.
Suspicious Documents and Activities
During investigation, Indian Aadhaar card, PAN card, four ATM cards, and other documents were recovered from the person. He could not give any clear answer regarding the validity of these identity cards and their receipt. His activities were found suspicious, and considering the sensitivity of the case, police and intelligence agencies are on alert.
Agencies engaged in investigation
SSB Deputy Commandant, Additional SP Shravasti, IB Bhinga, ATS Bhinga, LIU Bhinga, and Sirsia police station in-charge reached the spot. They jointly interrogated the suspect. The suspect repeatedly changed his statements during interrogation, further casting doubt on his activities.

The suspect has been handed over to Sirsia police station, where further investigation is being conducted. During this period, the recovered documents are also being examined. Police said that considering the sensitivity of the case, every aspect will be investigated thoroughly.

Security agencies have been alerted by the arrest of the suspect caught on the India-Nepal border. Vigilance has been increased in the border areas, and additional checking is being done to keep an eye on suspicious activities.
