Shomnath is an infra contracting firm based in Karaundiya. Through this contracting organization, plastic pipes etc. are supplied to many district institutions in many districts. Regarding the possibility of GST evasion by the contracting firm, the team of GST Deputy Commissioner Prashant Kumar Singh, Assistant Commissioner Sarika Singh, State Tax Officer Anurag Pandey and Kalpana Kanojia reached the house of Rakhi Tiwari, proprietor of the contracting firm located in Karaundia, to investigate the firm in the evening. .
During investigation, the team found that plastic pipes etc. are supplied in many districts through the firm. Whose team could not match together. The team officials have summoned the records of purchase and sale of goods from the firm’s proprietor Rakhi Tiwari. GST Deputy Commissioner Singh said that purchase and sale records have been summoned. Action will be taken after matching the goods.
