Let us tell you that on the instructions of SP Ashok Kumar Meena, all the jurisdictional officers of Sonbhadra are patrolling on foot in their respective areas. Under the leadership of Sadar CO Dr. Charu Dwivedi in Robertsganj Nagar, the force patrolled the entire city on foot from the main intersection. Along with this, he held a meeting with both the elite people and held talks.
A high alert was put across the state at the government level regarding the Sambhal case. SP Ashok Kumar Meena has alerted the district police regarding this. During this time, along with the intelligence system, all the station in-charges, COs and other administrative officers were instructed to visit their respective areas.
While instructing the police station to visit the area especially with mixed population, the SP made it clear that they should contact the elite people of both the communities and appeal for cooperation in maintaining peace. He clarified that during this period, if any person from any community or anarchist element tries to spread rumors or create disturbance, strict action should be taken against him.
