During the meeting, Superintendent Dr. Shailendra Mani Ojha said that registration of pregnant women should be done as per the target and all their necessary tests should be ensured. He said that pregnant women should be checked for pre-natal weight, haemoglobin, BP, urine, syphilis, HIV and stomach during the vaccination session.
motivational advice Dr. Ojha motivated the pregnant women to avail the facility of free check-ups and ultrasound on various dates under the Pradhan Mantri Matritva Surakshit Abhiyan (HRP Clinic). He said that this will enable timely identification of high-risk pregnant women, and health consultation and treatment at the time of delivery.
Special attention on vaccination In the meeting, BMC Suryadev Singh advised to make a list of families for vaccination of pregnant women and motivate them for the vaccine. He said that this step is necessary to ensure the safety of both mother and child. Rahul, Deepak, Reena, Farha, Rekha, Sudha and other health workers were present in this meeting, who played an active role in explaining the importance of health of pregnant women and encouraging them.
