Trinamool Congress claimed that a total of 71 Rajya Sabha MPs had signed the petition which was moved under Article 67(B) of the Constitution
The Congress-led INDIA bloc has moved a no-confidence motion against Rajya Sabha Chairman and Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar, accusing him of bias and ‘partisan functioning’, claiming he favoured the ruling party during House proceedings and stifled the Opposition’s voice.
According to sources, all opposition parties, including the Trinamool Congress (TMC), Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Samajwadi Party (SP), have signed the motion, which was moved under Article 67(B) of the Constitution.
Meanwhile, TMC claimed that a total of 71 MPs had signed the motion.
