Keeping in mind the Maha Kumbh-2025 in Ghazipur, due to the doubling work between Phaphamau-Ugrasenpur section of Lucknow Division of Northern Railway, the Railway Administration has announced changes in the routes and cancellation of many trains due to traffic and power block.

05437 Ghazipur City-Prayagraj Sangam MEMU train running from Ghazipur City will remain canceled till 21st December. Similarly, 05438 Prayagraj Sangam-Ghazipur City MEMU train running from Prayagraj Sangam will also remain canceled till December 21.
Route change information
Lokmanya Tilak Terminal-Gorakhpur Express (15017) has been diverted from 11 to 20 December. This train will now run through Prayagraj Rambagh, Banaras, Varanasi Junction and Aundhihar route instead of Prayagraj Junction. Due to this change, there has also been a change in the stopping place of the train. This train will now not stop at Prayag, Phaphamau, Sarai Chandi, Phulpur, Ugrasenpur, Janghai, Sarai Kansarai, Suriawan, Modh, Bhadohi, Parsipur, Kapsethi and Sewapuri stations.
The route of this Lokmanya Tilak Terminal-Mau Express (15182) train running on 16th December has also been changed. Now it will run via Prayagraj Junction-Prayagraj Rambagh-Banaras-Varanasi Junction-Andhihar-Mau. Due to route change, this train will not stop at Phulpur, Janghai, Marianhu, Jaunpur, Shahganj, Khorasan Road, Azamgarh and Muhammadabad stations.
Chhapra-Lokmanya Tilak Terminal Express (11059) train running on 12, 14, 17 and 19 December will also be diverted. It will now run via Prayagraj Jn.-Prayagraj Rambagh-Banaras-Varanasi Jn.-Aundhihar-Mau, due to which this train will not stop at Phulpur, Janghai, Marianhu, Jafrabad, Jaunpur, Shahganj, Khorasan Road, Saraymeer, Azamgarh and Muhammadabad stations. .

Ghazipur City-Bandra Terminus Express (20942)
20942 Ghazipur City-Bandra Terminus Express, running from Ghazipur City on 15th and 17th December, will now run at 21:30 hrs instead of 19:30 hrs, after being controlled by 120 minutes from Ghazipur City station.
