The student was from Sonbhadra Uma, daughter of Dudhnath, a student resident of Sonbhadra, was preparing for competitive examinations by staying in a private hostel in a street near Paneer Square in Colonelganj. His body was found hanging from the fan in the room at ten o’clock on Monday morning. The student had hanged herself with the help of a towel from the fan installed on the ceiling of the room. When the people of the hostel came to know about this, they informed the police. Along with the police, the forensic team also reached the spot. The police took down the body and sent it for post-mortem. Police are investigating the reasons for suicide. On the other hand, as soon as the information about the student’s suicide was received, the family members also reached Prayagraj in the afternoon.
