Britney Spears had an emotional yet unforgettable Christmas this year. She reunited with her 18-year-old son, Jayden James. Taking to Instagram on December 25, the singer shared a post revealing that it had been two years since she last saw her son. The post featured a montage of clips from their Christmas Day celebration, captioned, “Best Christmas of my life.” She expressed her joy, writing, “I haven’t seen my boys in 2 years!!! Tears of joy and literally in shock every day, koo koo crazy, so in love and blessed!!! I’m speechless. Thank you, Jesus!!!”

The clip captures a heartwarming moment as Britney Spears embraces her son, planting a kiss on his cheek and calling him “my baby.” Jayden greets viewers with a “hello” and “Merry Christmas” while Britney pans the camera to reveal a beautifully decorated festive fireplace in the background.

Britney Spears shares her sons, Jayden and Sean Preston, with ex-husband Kevin Federline, whom she separated from in 2006 after three years of marriage. In the past, Federline revealed that both boys had chosen not to see their mother and opted out of attending her wedding to Sam Asghari in June 2022. Britney and Asghari, however, ended their marriage in May 2023 after 14 months together.

Reports earlier hinted at Britney Spears and her youngest son, Jayden, mending their relationship after years of estrangement. Reportedly, it was Jayden who took the first step to reconnect. According to an insider, “Jayden texted Britney to say he was back home,” adding, “She was very happy to hear from and see him.”

For those who don’t know, Kevin Federline has had full custody since 2008. He was reportedly supportive of Jayden’s decision to reconnect with Britney. According to a report on Page Six, Federline’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, revealed that he was aware of this visit and asked the kids to make their own decision. “He’s very close with all of his kids. If the boys feel comfortable improving their relationship with their mom, Kevin’s all for that. Both these boys are adults now. Kevin is supportive of them making their own decisions and doing what’s best for them,” Kaplan said.
