A woman died after being hit by a train near Purdilnagar underpass in Sikandrarau Kotwali area of Hathras today. There was a huge crowd at the spot. Police also reached there. Despite a lot of efforts by the police, the body of the woman has not been identified yet.

Today at 2 pm, a goods train was going from Kasganj towards Hathras. As soon as the goods train reached Purdilnagar underpass of Sikandrarau Kotwali police station area, a woman was hit by the train. The woman died due to this. When people saw this scene, they got involved there too. On receiving the information, civil police also reached there. GRP also came there.
The police tried to identify the body of the woman, but the body could not be identified. After this the police sent the body for post-mortem.
