In the meeting of the District Industries Committee held at the Collectorate on Monday evening, the DM asked the Electricity Department to resolve the problem of the weavers with immediate effect and submit a report. Shailesh Singh and other weavers had lodged a complaint that their father had passed away and they were not getting government facilities as the electricity connection was not in their name. Many factories are closed. In this case, the DM directed to give electricity connections to the legitimate heirs.

Entrepreneurs associated with Chandpur industrial area raised the issue of encroachment. The DM asked for action by forming a joint team of police, municipal corporation and industry department officials in this matter. The Deputy Commissioner asked the industry to immediately resolve the 03 pending cases on the Nivesh Mitra portal.

In the meeting of Udyog Bandhu, it was agreed to open the dispensary of State Employees Insurance Corporation in Chandpur Industrial Area. Besides, the Municipal Corporation was entrusted with the responsibility of preparing an action plan for garbage collection from the industrial area. The meeting was attended by Chief Development Officer Himanshu Nagpal, Additional Police Commissioner Law and Order S Chinappa and a delegation of industry, municipal corporation, development authority and other departmental officers and entrepreneurs.
