Jacqueliene Fernandez penned a gratitude-filled note for Sonu Sood while he revealed her cute nickname in reply.

Sonu Sood made his directorial debut with the recently released movie Fateh, co-starring Jacqueliene Fernandez, Vijay Raaz and Naseeruddin Shah in key roles. The film had a slow opening at the box office, earning only Rs. 2.45 crore on day 1 of its release, as per Sacnilk. However, fans of the cast members have been heaping praise on their performances. Now, Jacqueliene Fernandez penned a gratitude-filled note for the writer-director of the movie for giving her such a wonderful opportunity.

Taking to her Instagram account, Jacqueliene Fernandez shared two pictures featuring her co-star Sonu Sood. The snaps were reportedly taken during their shoot for the film, and both the actors struck confident poses. Sood sported a chequered shirt teamed with denim photos. In contrast, the actress wore a white printed T-shirt teamed with a grey shrug in one picture while a black T-shirt with denim pants on the other.

Fernandez, who has been portraying the role of ‘Khushi Sharma’ in Fateh, also flaunted her absolutely flawless no-makeup, makeup look complemented with a messy hairstyle.

Alongside the photos, the actress expresses her gratitude for giving her such an opportunity, and wrote, “Fateh and Khushi!! @sonu_sood thanks for giving me this amazing opportunity to play Khushi!” She further complimented him by saying, “Thank you for being not just a great co-star but also a director with so much patience and passion for the art.”

In reply, Sonu Sood revealed that “it was such a pleasure working” with the actress and revealed her cute nickname, reportedly given by him – “Jacks”. He continued, “You made Khushi ALIVE. I promise you, FATEH will always be your best. Thanks a ton for making Fateh so special.”

Soon, their fans began flooding the comment section by dropping heartfelt reactions to the on-screen duo’s collaboration. One user said, “I am so excited to see it!! Sonu Sood is playing the lead role of Fateh Singh, an ex-special ops officer. The plot of Fateh is based on the life of the officer, who lives as a dairy farming supervisor in Punjab until a village girl becomes a victim of a cybercrime syndicate. Fateh Singh then joins hands with Khushi Sharma (played by Fernandez), an ethical hacker, to rescue Nimrit and destroy the cybercrime syndicate. The high-octane action thriller Fateh is bankrolled by Zee Studios and Shakti Sagar Productions.
