A sanitation worker died in a tragic road accident in Mathura. This accident happened near Degree College on Vrindavan Road in Mat police station area, where a speeding Bolero hit the scooty rider.

The deceased has been identified as Rajkumar (40), who was a resident of Ambedkar Nagar Lohawan, Police Station Jamunapar Mathura. He was returning home from his duty when the accident occurred. Local people immediately informed the police. While the police was taking the injured Rajkumar to the hospital, he died on the way.
Mat police station in-charge Inspector Rajit Verma said that information about the incident has been given to the relatives of the deceased. The police have filled the Panchnama of the body and sent it for post-mortem. Further action will be taken after receiving complaint from family members.
