After 4 days of protest by accountants in Tirwa tehsil, lawyers mobilized against them. The lawyers united and raised slogans of Murdabad outside the SDM office. There was an uproar by calling the accountants dacoits. The lawyers demanded that the authorities should make arrangements to get Khatauni made for the farmers. Due to Khatauni, farmers are roaming around the tehsil.

As soon as information about the uproar was received, ADM Ashish Kumar and ASP Ajay Kumar reached Tirwa tehsil. Here he talked to the lawyers and then explained to the accountants and asked them to postpone the protest. After this the accountants held a meeting and then decided to postpone the strike. Tehsil President of Lekhpal Association, Abhishek Yadav says that they have postponed the strike, but the strike will continue.

After the lawyers’ demonstration, the accountants ended their strike.

The protest was going on for 4 days On November 16, lawyer Devendra Diwakar alias Khanna, along with his associates, attacked accountant Hridesh Kumar Pandey with a stick in the auditorium of Tirwa tehsil. The incident was captured in the CCTV camera installed there. On the complaint of the victim accountant, an FIR was registered against lawyer Devendra and his associates at Tirwa police station in the night itself. Demanding the arrest of the accused, Lekhpal Sangh started protesting by stopping work in the Tehsil premises itself. Their protest was going on for 4 days.

After the lawyers’ demonstration, the accountants ended their strike.

Lawyer adamant on writing report against accountant Tirwa’s Bar Association President Ajay Pratap Singh says that on the complaint of a woman, accountant Hridesh Pandey had come to measure the land. Here he misbehaved with the mother and wife of lawyer Devendra Diwakar and used caste based abuses. When the lawyer came to know about this, he lost his temper, due to which a dispute broke out. When the lawyer filed a complaint against the accountant, the police did not register the report. In such a situation, either the police should file a report on behalf of the lawyer, else the matter should be settled. Otherwise the lawyers will protest vigorously.
