After trouncing the Netherlands in spectacular fashion, Australia will look to continue the winning momentum in the 2023 ICC ODI World Cup. The five-time champions made a disastrous start to the campaign, losing their first two games to India and South Africa.

They managed to bounce back in the subsequent fixture to get back in the semi-finals race.

Pat Cumminsโ€™ side is now fourth on the World Cup points table with 6 points in 5 matches. Australia will look to climb up in the standings when they take on New Zealand in the upcoming game. The highly anticipated 50-over clash will be hosted at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala on October 28.

New Zealand have already shown their capability in this World Cup, showing why they are considered title favourites. Their only defeat in the tournament came against India in their previous game.

Batting first, New Zealand managed to produce 273 runs. Their bowling unit also tried their best to defend the target but in the end, surrendered to Virat Kohli. India ultimately completed the chase in 48 overs with four wickets in hand.

The wicket at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala has been one of the most bowling-friendly surfaces in this ICC ODI World Cup. In the previous games played here, the pitch was conductive for fast bowling during the initial overs when the ball was new.

The weather in Drahamsala is expected to remain partly cloudy on October 28. But there is no chance of rain affecting the ODI World Cup match between Australia and New Zealand. The temperature could hover around 16 degrees Celsius to 22 degrees Celsius, while the humidity is anticipated to be around 47-55 percent. The wind speed will be around 8-10 km/h during the 50-over clash.
