A child fell into a 40-foot-deep borewell inside a Delhi Jal Board plant near Keshopur Mandi located in the western side of the national capital.
Teams from the Delhi Fire Services, National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and Delhi Police rushed to the spot, NDRF’s inspector-in-charge Veer Pratap Singh also reached with the team and inspected the situation.
The forces will begin the rescue operation shortly. They will dig a new borewell parallel to the one in which the child has fallen.
