The cycling events at the 2023 Asian Games are set to begin on September 26. The races will be hosted at the Chun’an Jieshou Sports Centre Cycling Road Course in Hangzhou till September 29. The cycling track stretches along Qiandao Lake with greeneries on both flanks. The Cycling Federation of India has sent a 14-member team to compete at the 2023 Asian Games. Cycling has been a part of the Asian Games since the inaugural 1951 edition. The only time that the sport was not included in the roster was in 1954. Cycling at the Asiad is divided into four categories– BMX, Mountain Bike, Road, and Track cycling.

Japan has been a dominant force in Asian Games cycling in terms of medal count. They are followed by China and South Korea. When it comes to mountain biking, Indonesia tops the medal tally.
