Deepesh Mor of Faridabad selected in Asian Games: Won 4 medals including Gold in National Weight Lifting; people warmly welcomed

Deepesh Mor of Faridabad, Haryana has won the gold medal by lifting a weight of 461 kg in the National Weight Lifting Competition held in Tamil Nadu. He has also won 3 silver medals in this competition. Due to Dipesh’s better performance, he has now been selected for the Asian Games, which will be held in China.

People thronged Deepesh Mor’s house in Sector 55, Faridabad, congratulating him with flower garlands and bouquets. At the age of just 17, Dipesh has won three gold medals in district level competitions in Faridabad, 3 gold medals in state level competitions in Haryana and 1 gold medal and 3 silver medals in the National Weight Lifting Competition held in Tamil Nadu recently.

Deepesh, who won the gold alone by lifting 461 kg in the Nationals, has now been selected for the Asian Games. Dipesh told that only because of his family and his coach, he could achieve this height. His next target will be to get gold medal in Asian Games.
