The actors, who struck up a romantic relationship back in the 90s, tied the knot in 1997 and later welcomed their kids, son Jaden and daughter Willow, in 1998 and 2000, respectively. Despite having spent several special and happy moments together over the years, the couple also saw trouble in their paradise, including their separation. Speaking to NBC’s Hoda Kotb last week, the actor spilled some beans from her biography. Later, in her interaction with the Associated Press, Jada spoke about how she reconsidered writing the book, especially after the Oscars incident. “The only time I possibly reconsidered was after the Oscars… because I was like, I can’t write a book and not talk about this piece. It took me a while to figure that out,” she said.

Further, she also spoke about the dynamics of her marriage, which might be confusing for many fans as the couple has been living separately for several years but is technically still married. Speaking on the same, the Collateral actress said that they are working towards a resolution, adding that they are not ready to give up on each other yet.

“We love each other… We are figuring out right now, as we speak, what that looks like for us. But there’s no separation. There’s no, ‘we’re going to get divorced. I’m not giving up on that dude. And he’s not giving up on me.
