Javed Akhtar said- No need to create ruckus on the temple: Said- Supreme Court's decision should be respected, there is no harm in celebrating.

Veteran writer of Hindi films Javed Akhtar says that no one should have any objection to the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya. He says that when the Supreme Court itself has decided that a temple should be built in Ayodhya, then there is no point in creating ruckus over it. This is the biggest festival in the world. There is no harm in celebrating.

Let us tell you that Javed Akhtar had recently reached the Ajanta-Ellora Film Festival held in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. There he talked a lot about Ram Mandir, Urdu language and Ajanta-Ellora caves.Javed Akhtar talked about some main points in the interview with Dainik Bhaskar.

Urdu is considered a secular language. What do you think about the situation today?
answer- Urdu was never the language of the clerics. When the Quran was translated in 1798, the clerics issued a fatwa against it. He even termed it as bad language. The clerics objected as to how such language could be given to the Holy Quran, but it is the language of broad-minded, secular and progressive people from the very beginning.

This language is spoken and written in Punjab, Delhi, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh. This is a language that contradicts ancient customs from the very first day, but some people hate Muslims, so are trying to eliminate this language. It is not the language of any religion but of the region.

Javed Akhtar has written many big films in his career. The pairing of him and Salim Khan has given many films to Bollywood.

Why is it that people in the art world, especially most poets, are alcoholics?
answer- Most poets may be alcoholics, but I don't drink even a drop. Many people drink alcohol without becoming poets. This is a serious problem. Many people die due to alcohol in villages and cities. Are all these poets? This is not right.

Javed Akhtar has received Padma Bhushan from the Government of India in 2007.

Your son Farhan is also an actor, writer and director. Tell them their merits and demerits?
answer- Farhan is a very talented person. I am very happy with his success. Writes well, directs well. Acting is also good. Whatever he has done so far, he has done well. He didn't do any bad things to make the film work. He did not write dirty songs and dialogues.

The body is like the statue of Ajanta.. Did you write these lines after seeing the caves of Ajanta?
answer- When I wrote these lines, I had not seen the caves of Ajanta-Ellora. I have written these lines after seeing the pictures. I saw the Ellora caves for the first time and was stunned. These sculptures have been created by several generations over 600 years.

What kind of passion must have existed in those people who embodied such extraordinary beauty. I am amazed at how he has shaped those sculptures. Now I would also like to see the sculptures of Ajanta.
