Jay Shah to remain ACC Chairman: Tenure extended for one year; decision taken in the meeting

Jay Shah will continue as the President of Asian Cricket Council (ACC). His tenure has been extended for one year. According to ANI, Jay Shah's tenure was unanimously extended for one year in the Annual General Meeting of ACC.

The Annual General Meeting of ACC started in Bali, Indonesia from yesterday i.e. Tuesday, which ended today. The meeting was for 2 days. Jay Shah took over the post in 2021, replacing Nazmul Hasan of Bangladesh.

Along with being the chairman of ACC, Jay Shah is also the secretary of BCCI.

ACC was established in 1983. The aim of this organization is to develop the game of cricket in Asia. It is recognized by the International Cricket Council (ICC). Currently 25 countries are members of ACC.
