This murder case was very much discussed in the city. Who had lost faith in relationships. Three accused were sent to jail in this murder case. But it took so much time to deliver the sentence that 2 out of 3 accused have died. The remaining 1 accused was sentenced to life imprisonment on Friday.

Murder for 10 lakh rupees

Noman, 7 year old son of Irshad, resident of Lisadi Gate, was earlier kidnapped and murdered by his elder brother Jamil for the sake of Rs 10 lakh. Irshad was doing paint and wood business at that time. The business was going very well, due to which Irshad’s elder brother Jamil became jealous of him. Being jealous of his brother’s money, Jamil had planned to kidnap his son Noman and collect a huge ransom amount.

Real uncle along with brother-in-law kidnapped

Both the brothers had adjacent houses on the same street. One day uncle Jamil took innocent Noman with him from home on the pretext of getting him a kite and kidnapped him. Kidnapped Noman and hid him in the forest in Daurala. Along with Jamil, his brother-in-law Shamshad was also involved in kidnapping. Both of them demanded an amount of Rs 10 lakh in exchange for releasing Noman. Irshad could not understand that his own elder brother was doing all this. He somehow arranged money to free his son.

On the pretext of getting a kite, uncle took me to the forest.

But innocent Noman recognized his kidnapper uncle and real uncle. He said that he will tell his father that uncle took him to the forest. Both of them got scared after being recognised. Brother-in-law and brother-in-law together got Dilshad the butcher murdered by luring him with money. Dilshad had cut the innocent child into pieces with an animal cutting knife and thrown his body in the forest of Daurala.

Called from STD and demanded ransom money from younger brother

To ensure that no one suspects the uncle and aunt, both of them along with the entire family kept searching for Noman. Collected ransom money. The police kept searching for the kidnappers for about 15 days. But no clue was found, then the whole secret was revealed through the same STD-PCO of Daurala from whom Jamil had called to demand ransom money. The truth of Jamil, Dilshad and Shamshad came out. Then, on their information, the police recovered Noman’s body in pieces from a reed field in Lavad on August 3, 2007.

Nephew was murdered by a butcher

Noman’s younger brother Ahmed said that after so many years we got justice, but it was too late. Our brother can’t come back. Our own uncles and relatives betrayed us. After that all relations with him have ended. Two accused Tau Jamil and Dilshad have passed away. Shamshad was sentenced to life imprisonment by the court on Friday. We did not even find my brother’s dead body; it came home in pieces, wrapped in a sheet and in a box. Ahmed further said that after that incident our business has also come to a standstill. Abbu now runs the family by driving a mini metro.
