Manoj said- Shahrukh suffered at an early age: Said- I have seen his bad times; Everything was destroyed, yet they stood

Manoj Bajpayee is in a lot of discussion these days with his upcoming film ‘Sirf Ek Banda Kafi Hai’. During the promotion of the film, he talked about Shahrukh Khan. Manoj said that he has known Shahrukh for many years. Like Shahrukh has made himself, probably no one will be able to do this.

Manoj said that Shah Rukh’s parents passed away at a young age. A mountain of sorrows fell on him, yet he did not back down. He worked hard without getting discouraged and made a mark for himself.

‘I have seen Shah Rukh’s bad times’
Manoj Bajpayee said in an interview to Lallantop, ‘I feel very happy to see Shahrukh at this stage today. A man whose everything was ruined at the age of 26. Whose family had passed away. He created a new world for himself. Earned so much name and respect for myself.

I respect him more because I have seen his ruined world. I was one of his friends who had seen bad times in his life. I have never had any bitterness towards him.

Shah Rukh and Manoj Bajpayee entered the industry almost simultaneously.

Shahrukh’s parents both passed away within 10 years
Shahrukh’s father’s name was Mir Taj Mohammad. He used to run a small tea stall in Delhi. He passed away in 1981. He was so saddened by the separation from his father that he did not even see his face for the last time.

Exactly 10 years in 1991, Shahrukh’s mother Latif Fatima also passed away. Shahrukh’s condition had worsened after his departure. Shahrukh used to pray for his mother to get well but God did not listen to him.

‘Not many meetings anymore’
Manoj further said, ‘Me and Shahrukh do not meet much, but when we do, we meet very well. We both have our own world. Now we don’t meet much. Although when we were 19-20 years old, we worked together for about one and a half years. We both still respect each other.

Shahrukh-Manoj used to share cigarettes with each other at one time
Manoj Bajpayee had talked about his and Shahrukh’s friendship in an old interview. Manoj said that at one point of time he and Shah Rukh used to share cigarettes with each other. Manoj said that at that time Shahrukh used to have a van, both used to roam in the same van.
