Pant fined for second consecutive match: Fine of Rs 24 lakh for slow over rate; Punishment was also given against CSK

The second fine has been imposed on Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant after the match played against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
Delhi Capitals (DC) captain Rishabh Pant has been fined for the second consecutive match. He was found guilty of slow over rate against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). For this, a fine of Rs 24 lakh was imposed on him. Indian Premier League (IPL) gave this information on Thursday.
Earlier, in the last match against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) also, he was found guilty of slow over rate. But since it was the first mistake of the season, a fine of Rs 12 lakh was imposed.
25% fine of match fee on playing-11 including impact player
Apart from Pant, the players who were part of the playing-11 including the impact player of Delhi Capitals have been fined 25% of the match fee. Batting after winning the toss, Kolkata scored 272 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs at the Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam. In the reply innings, Delhi team was all out for 166 runs in 17.2 overs.
The players who were part of the playing 11, including the impact player of Delhi Capitals, have been fined 25 percent of the match fee.
Gill has also been fined this season
In the 7th match of this season of IPL, Gujarat Titans (GT) captain Shubman Gill was fined in the match against Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Team captain Gill was also fined Rs 12 lakh due to slow over rate.
