Punjab Kings defeated Gujarat Titans on Thursday in an exciting match of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Batting first, Titans scored 199 runs in 20 overs in Ahmedabad on Thursday. Punjab achieved the target by losing 7 wickets in 19.5 overs.
Punjab captain Shikhar Dhawan was bowled for a record 40th time in IPL. Whereas Sai Sudarshan has become the highest run scoring Indian in the league after 17 innings. Gujarat's fielders dropped catches at important moments, due to which they had to suffer the consequences and the team lost the match. 1. Wriddhiman Saha left in DRS
Gujarat Titans' wicketkeeper-opener Wriddhiman Saha remained not out due to DRS taken during batting. The first ball of the second over was bowled by Arshdeep Singh of good length on the leg stump. The ball hit Saha's pads, Punjab appealed for LBW and the umpire gave the decision of out.
Saha took the review, replays showed that the ball was going over the stumps. The field umpire reversed his decision and Saha remained not out on the score of 1 run. However, he became the victim of Kagiso Rabada after scoring 11 runs.
