Shahrukh was not allowed to bring his work home: She said- If he had brought the script home, I would have thrown it out the window

Shahrukh Khan and Gauri have completed 32 years of marriage. Both of them got married on 25 October 1991. During an interview, Shahrukh's wife Gauri said that no offer can be big enough to tempt her to do a film. Gauri Khan even shared that she broke the TV and threw the script out the window.

While Shahrukh is the king of Bollywood, Gauri is also a famous interior designer. During an interview, Gauri said- We never discuss about work at home. If Shahrukh ever sits down to watch a video of a Hindi film, I feel like breaking the TV. Whereas if they bring a script home, I tell them to throw the script out the window. Shahrukh has a lot of time for all this on the set. That's why I believe they should do all this on the set itself.

The interesting thing is that in the initial days, even film producers used to visit Shahrukh at home only when Gauri was not at home. However, later Shahrukh shifted his office to the front room of the house. Gauri further said that no offer from the film industry can be big enough to tempt her to do a film. Gauri considers acting as the worst profession.

Gauri initially hated Mumbai
Gauri came to Mumbai after her marriage with Shahrukh Khan in 1991. In the beginning it was a bit difficult for him to adjust to the city. He said- I hated Mumbai. I used to miss my family a lot. I didn't even know anyone in the city. However, gradually I made friends and then started enjoying the city. I used to avoid talking to the directors and producers with whom Shahrukh worked. Even I did not know in which films Shahrukh was working.

As an interior designer, Gauri Khan has designed the office spaces and homes of many Bollywood celebs. Gauri is also the co-founder of Shahrukh's production company Red Chillies Entertainment.
