But we were friends for three years before that. Even we didn't know when love started between us. Maybe because there are so many differences between us.

In March 2020, Fahad invited Swara to his sister's wedding. Then Swara had said that I am busy in shooting so I will not be able to come, but I swear that I will definitely come to your wedding.

Fahadh is from a small town in Western UP. Urdu and Hindustani languages ​​are spoken in his home. While I am an actress in Hindi films, he is a research scholar, activist and politician.

Swara feels safe with Fahadh
Our liberal arts education, political perspective and common thinking about country and society gave us a language to talk. We both met in December 2019 during the CAA-NRC protest. We had also organized a protest together. Then gradually our friendship became stronger.

I feel safe with Fahadh. Fahad also says that he can share anything with me without any hesitation. Then after long talks day and night for months, I asked Fahadh what to do next. She said we are very different from each other, yet compatible. Fahadh likes me a lot. He asked me to give him 2-3 years time to settle down, and then proposed marriage. I was surprised to hear this. But to be honest, I lost in front of his honesty and confidence.
