In Robertsganj, Sonbhadra, a 16 year old girl reached the DM office by writing a complaint letter regarding her father's harassment. In the letter given by the girl to the District Magistrate, it was told that her parents live separately and the girl was currently living with her father. The girl was being physically and mentally tortured by her father, due to which the girl herself reached the DM office to seek justice for her safety and protection.

The DM immediately lodged the girl in a children's home.
