Vikrant Massey was afraid of being fired from Looter: Ranveer Singh was hit with a gun on his nose on the very first day of the shoot

These days, actor Vikrant Massey is enjoying the success of his recently released film ’12th Fail’. Meanwhile, the actor talked about his debut film Lootera.

He told that on the very first day of shooting of the film, he had hit the nose of lead actor Ranveer Singh with a prop gun. After this he feared that he would be fired from the film. However, this did not happen.

In an interview given to Galatta Plus, Vikrant talked about his first film shot. Vikrant said, ‘I remember my first shot very well. We were shooting the film Lootera in Filmcity.

It was a bedroom scene, in which Ranveer’s character comes and wakes me up and I point a gun at him. I was very nervous while shooting this scene because it was a big moment for me.

In the film, Vikrant played the role of robber Devdas Mukherjee, Ranveer’s partner.

Vikrant further said, ‘…and when the scene was shot, as soon as I took out my gun, it hit Ranveer hard on the nose. I thought that now I will be thrown out of this film on the very first day.

In the very first scene of my first film, I have caused such an injury to the lead actor of the film that it would take him a few weeks to recover.. but thankfully that did not happen.

Vikrant made his acting debut on TV in 2007. He was seen in popular films like Balik Vadhu and Dharam-Veer.

Worked on TV for 6 years before ‘Lootera’
Vikrant made his Bollywood debut with Ranveer Singh and Senakshi Sinha starrer film ‘Lootera’ released in 2013. In this he played the role of Ranveer’s friend Devdas Mukherjee.

Earlier, Vikrant had made his acting debut in 2007 with the TV show ‘Dhoom Machao Dhoom’. After this, he was seen in many TV shows including ‘Dharam-Veer’ and ‘Balika Vadhu’.

The film 12th Fail has made good box office collection in 4 days.

Vikrant’s film ’12th Fail’ has been released in theaters this week. Made in a low budget, this film has made good collections at the box office in the first weekend. It has earned Rs 8.20 crore in 4 days.
