‘What is the shame in feeding a child?’: Neha Marda said – Breastfeeding in public is not a crime, it is natural

Neha Marda, who plays Gehna in the TV serial Balika Vadhu, has spoken about breastfeeding in public. In a recent interview given to Times of India, Neha has said that it is not a crime to breastfeed a child in public.

He also said that a mother feeding her child is one of the most beautiful things in the world.

Talking to the media, Neha said- As far as breastfeeding is concerned, I always prefer to take my child out of the house after feeding them. If he gets hungry when we are out then I can’t let him go hungry.

In such a situation, then I can feed her at any place. But, I always try to feed him well before leaving the house.

Neha further said- However, I will not let her go hungry under any condition. It is very natural for a mother to feed her child. There is nothing to be ashamed of if you are breastfeeding your baby in public.

This is not a crime. You are only feeding your baby, if you want you can cover yourself and your baby with a scarf.

Daughter was born on 7th April
Neha Marda gave birth to a daughter on April 7 this year. Just before the birth of the daughter, Neha had given information about complications in pregnancy while sharing photos from the hospital bed on social media. While sharing the photo, he wrote – In the last phase of this journey, now I am only waiting for my child.

Neha Marda married Patna-based businessman Ayushmann Agarwal in 2012. Neha has worked in TV serials like Balika Vadhu, Mahadev, Doli Armaano Ki and Laal Ishq. He was last seen in Kyun Rishton Mein Katti Batti.
