In the recent episode of Koffee with Karan 8, Zeenat Aman shared the experience of working with Raj Kapoor in the film Satyam Shivam Sundaram. He said that he did not believe that Raj Kapoor would cast him in this film.

Let us tell you, in this episode he was seen with Neetu Kapoor. Neetu had also told many things related to Rishi Kapoor.

Zeenat Aman said- I was afraid that I would not get the role because of my western look.

Zeenat said that she was working with Raj Kapoor in the film Vakil Babu. She was in the lead role in this film. During that time, Raj Kapoor was very busy in the script of the film Satyam Shivam Sundaram. Vakil Babu often used to talk about this film on the shooting set. Zeenat Aman was very impressed by these things.

She further told that she was more into western look. For this reason, she never thought that Raj Saheb would cast her in the role of a priest's daughter.

Raj Saheb was surprised to see me in the role of Rupa.

Zeenat Aman told that one day after shooting at Essel Studio near RK Studio, she decided to make herself Rupa. According to Raj Kapoor's vision, she reached Raj Kapoor's tent wearing a ghagra choli, making a long braid and making a wound on her face with tissue paper like Rupa.

She further said- I went to RK Studio. Raj Kapoor was in his tent. I told his manager John – John, tell Raj Kapoor ji that Rupa has come. John conveyed my message to him. He asked me to come inside. I went. He was surprised to see me in the film's costume and with a burnt face.

Then he called his wife and said – Look what this girl has done. After this, Raj Kapoor ji's wife brought gold coins. He gave it to me as signing amount.

Zeenat Aman was a hit in modeling before films

At the age of 19, Zeenat Aman won the titles of Femina Miss India and Miss Asia Pacific International. She became the first South Asian woman to win this title. After earning a lot of name in modeling, Zeenat turned to films.

He made his debut with the film Hulchul. After this, Zeenat was seen in the film Hungama but like the first film, it also failed at the box office. After continuous failure, Zeenat thought that she would no longer work in films. But Dev Anand's film Hare Ram Hare Krishna made him a star overnight.

At the same time, she is going to make a comeback after a long time with Manish Malhotra's film Ban Tikki.
