Meanwhile, Afghanistan are not quite having a memorable World Cup 2023 campaign. They have managed to claim one victory in the four matches they have played so far. After conceding defeats against Bangladesh and hosts India, the Afghans were able to get the better of the defending champions England by 69 runs. However, in their next game, Afghanistan were defeated by New Zealand by 149 runs.
